Brief History
The Indian cricket team, also known as Team India or the Men in Blue, is governed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). India played its first Test match in 1932 against England at Lord's. Since then, it has grown to become one of the most successful and influential cricket teams in the world, winning the ODI World Cup twice (1983 and 2011) and the T20 World Cup once (2007).
